Serenity

My convocation was yesterday Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1500hrs. It feels surreal that I have actually finished something. I'm at a loss for words at the moment, the feeling of accomplishment, perseverance, and just actually being where I'm supposed to be. It just feels so good.

The one who said yes to me
the one who guided me;
my strength,
my rock,
my parter,
my love.
You are the reason why I am here today,
the reason why I can love again.
A reason why this song I am listening to can make me smile,
I want you to know this;
From every inch of my heart that was broken before,
you mended every part of it,
and I hope that this heart can love you with every bit of effort and care that you have given me.
This is a poem to express the care and gratification,
to have a relationship as good as this,
to have a woman as good as you,
to have a friend as wonderful as you,
and most of all, to have a love as beautiful as you.
