Current Obsessions

1. Nude Nail Polish

The color I`ve been crazy for recently is a old one but lovely one I found recently in my nail polish collection... this one is called abalone shell cream formula by MAC

 2. An "inspired" Hermes Birkin purse

I recently got this at Winners and fell totally inlove with it. It's a purse from the Bueno Collection and is definitely much more affordable :).  Honestly, I`ll be straight up and say.. I don`t have that kind of money to spend on a real one. I chose this one because it`s versatile and simple, definitely great for spring and summer, and even a transitional piece into spring :)

It's a great tote for those who carry their whole lives with them on a daily basis ;)

3. The Navy Girlfriend Blazer

I bought this Vero Moda navy girlfriend blazer at a boutique called Mendocino. I'm totally feeling the navy blue for the spring and probably will wear this in the summer on those cool nights. It's a nice change from the the standard black boyfriend blazers. Don't get me wrong.. I practically lived my in boyfriend blazers throughout the colder weater, but a different color, style and cut is refreshing :)

Current Favourite Nail Polishes!

From Left to Right..

Joe Cosmetics - Fig; deeper lilac shade, creamy and applies opaque in two coats
Joe Cosmetics - Persian Blue; I absolutely love this creamy blue color, I don`t even know how to describe it. I think it`s a really unique shade and again the Joe Cosmetics nail polishes are really great quality for the price!
Joe Cosmetics - Jade; creamy emerald green color with no shimmer, absolutely love for fall!
Revlon Top Speed - Stormy; If you like OPI`s Metro Chic, you will definitely love this color, as it is pretty exact and dries in a quarter of the time ;)
MAC - cream Abalone Shell; cute nude color, I need to apply about three coats of this nail polish to get the opaque look, but it`s well worth it as it is a gorgeous nude color
Revlon - Plummy; the berry shades are in and this shade is so pretty! For me it`s the perfect berry color :)
OPI - Start to Finish base coat and top coat; best base coat I`ve ever used :)
OPI - Fast drying Top Coat; I like my top coats of a thicker consistency to get a nice shine and also protects the enamel underneath, and this definitely gives my not so good quality nail polishes a longer wear :P
Rimmel 60 Seconds - Grey Matter; pretty light grey. This color is one of my favourites now just because it`s an appealing color to look at on the nails, also grey never goes out of style :)

I've got the blues

Lately, I have been wearing nothing but blues on my eyelids. I just love how simple the application is but gives a simple but sophisticated look that could be worn day or night :)

Also, I wanted to post this particular look because I'm trying out a new foundation. NARS matte in Barcelona. I believe its a tad too light for me but it would perfectly as for the winter time. The NARS foundation in the matte formulation is honestly really light wearing, you seriously don't feel like you have make-up on your face! Its medium to full coverage depending on your application. Also, the sales lady at Sephora said that the next shade  up in this formulation would be too dark for me, unfortunately.. and actually said that NARS may not be the way to go for foundations this summer. Boo.

Foundation: NARS matte foundation in Barcelona
Concealer: MAC select cover-up in NC42
Eyes: Annabelle Blue Hue Trio (inner tear duct, eyelid), Mocha Cup (crease)
Eyelashes: ELF eyelash curler, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Black
Cheeks: Benefit Hoola Bronzer (contour), Benefit Dandelion (apples)
Lips: Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip liner in Natural, MAC lipstick in Lazy Day, MAC lipglass in Splashing

MAY/ JUNE HAULAGE..

Since I've been MIA for about a month now, I've accumulated a lot of things.. of some I haven't mentioned in this blog post but will probably be mentioned in other posts.

Keds white slip-ons 8.5 @ Browns
I have been wanting a pair of white slip-ons and when I saw these on sale for 29.99 I didn't even think twice about it hehe.. I definitely look forward to pairing these with a pair of skinny jeans and baggy t-shirt or even a cotton summer dress <3

heels by Micheal Antonio 39.99 @ Winners
need I say more? These are f*^%ing HOT! :D

O.P.I. Nail Lacquer in "No Room for the Blues" and "Hot and Spicy"
These two colors really appealed to me because I've been really into blues recently and this color actually looks good on my finger nails and toe nails even with my medium skin tone, also the coral peachy color is just LOVE, it looks so freaking good on.

Quo Brushes in angled contour brush, angled eye liner brush and angled faec contour brush
These can be found at Shoppers Drug Mart, and I really think that these are great alternatives to MAC brushes, they are great quality and the prices are ridiculously cheaper! The face contour brush is great for getting into the hollows of your cheeks and great for patting on blush, and the angled eye liner brush is divine as it works with such ease to put on gel eyeliner.

LUSH. I have been so reluctant to go into that store because everytime I walk in there I end up with a bag full of goodies! I give into the great customer service and the smell of the store all the time... anyways, this was in two different purchases. I had bought the Colour Supplement and Mint Julips at the same time. And Tea Tree Water and Porridge Soap another time. Just an F.Y.I this is my second Tea Tree Water since fall last year when I started getting into LUSH products, and I have to say using this regulary and NOT sparingly it really does last a long time, not to mention its been a miracle worker on my skin! I always get compliments on how luminous my skin looks I really believe its this baby :). Porridge soap is one the best smelling soaps I've used and literally keeps your bathroom smelling like it for hours after you shower! The Colour supplement is one of LUSH's new products this summer, its a pigmented make-up. You can pretty much use it on its own and conceal different parts of your face, and then mix it into your foundation or moisturizer. I'm the colour dark yellow, and I chose this color mainly so that I could mix it with my foundations, because I'm definitely tanner now, and my foundations are all in my winter shade, this definitely does the trick! The Mint Julips lip scrub is just always nice to have, with the unpredictable weather where I live, my lips tend to get really chapped and dry easily this is a great way to keep the lips nice and smooth.

MAC To The Beach!
Cream Bronzer in Weekend, Lipglass in Splashing, and Lipstick in Lazy Day.
Literally when this collection came out a lot of customers were literally fighting over the Marinelife blush, obviously I didn't end up getting one. My MAC associate told me it sold out literally 1 hour after opening. I'm totally into cream blushes and bronzers right now, they look so good on the skin especially on top of a foundation it looks so luminous and fresh looking :)

NYX For Your Eyes Only - Brown Eyes, and N.Y.C. Creme Stick in Plaza Pink
I am such a fan of NYX eyeshadows, when I saw this palatte I immediately fell in loooove. Also, like I said I'm into cream blushes and bronzers so I decided to get this pink color in the N.Y.C. creme sticks, since I already owned the color seaside bombshell?.

Lady Gaga & Steal from H&M!!

Chiffon navy blue dress from H&M - $12.95!!!!
I was wearing my contacts at the time I was looking at this dress, and I thought they were playing tricks on me or something. Sometimes, you just never know what you`re gonna find when you`re not looking!

MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga
I absolutely love this color!!
(hehe I know you can`t really see the color due to the intensity of the flash on my blackberry phone camera, but the color is a bright bubble gum pink with a mauve undertone to it)

MAC Viva Glam Gaga
(don't mind the messy hair)
[Edit] I also hung out with a good friend of mine from highschool yesterday evening! I just wanted to say that it was really nice catching up and actually hanging out again! We just had some dinner at Moxie's which is my favourite restaurant at the moment and had some coffee at Timothy's Coffee afterwards <3.
