N.Y.C.

As mentioned, I said I would post a pic of what the Crest Pro Effects White Strips did for me.. I know eh! That's with natural light :D

Also, I bought something something interesting and that amazed me. This brand has really been brushed under the carpet, when they have some truly amazing products, also to mention the incredible prices their products go for.. N.Y.C!  The N.Y.C Individual Eyes Custom Compact and N.Y.C Smooth and Natural Matte Powder Foundation.  I am wearing both the products in the pics above with the exception of my lipgloss and mascara.

The Individual Eyes Custom Compact - The Compact that I got is for brown eyes, called 938U Union Square. It comes with a great highlight color for medium/tan colored skin! All over lid color is such a natural color its great for everyday, and the Crease color is a brown shimmery color but complements the natural matte lid color very well! This compact comes with TWO crease colors, depending on the look you want, but it also comes with a plum color satin color, which really does flatter brown eyes! Also, it comes with a Primer and Illuminator. The primer is quite opaque when applied to the eyelids, so a little goes a long way! As for the power of the primer, well.. I'm 5 hours into my day and no creasing! The illuninator I used on the bridge of my nose, also very pigmented so again, a little goes a very long way! Over all a great everyday look/ compact to carry around! This compact comes in colors for all different eye colors :)

Smooth and Natural Matte Powder Foundation - I am pleased to say that this product truly lives up to its name. My face feels so natural, like literally nothing on. Its staying power is great, no shine for 5 hours now!  I think the only down side to this product is that it comes in three shades. I got the shade 733U metro tan, which is the darkest shade from the powders. So if you have darker skin than I do, sorry.

It's been a while.. Commitment overview and new stuff :)

I've been back and forth between Tumblr and Blogger. For the reason that both services are very different in style and simplicity. I find that although Tumblr is very easy to use, to customize uniquely is almost impossible. So, I'm back :)

On my Tumblr, I had posted commitments for the next month..
1. Finish my Crest White Strips Pro pack (10 days) with hopes of great results!
2. Finish my excessive stash of Lush Products (.. so I can go back in the store =*))]
3. Finish two lip products in February.. because I bought two new lipsticks >_<
4. Drink lots of water everyday approx. 3L at the least!
5. Gym 3-4 times a week!

I have 1 and half days of my Crest white strips left, and I have to say that my teeth have gone almost 3-4 shades whiter and brighter! Unfortunately I don't have a before pic, but I will post a after pic :). I have finished my Figs and Leaves soap and Sugar Scrub from Lush. I am definitely going to pick up more Figs and Leaves soap after I finish the I Should Coco soap, I am loving them so much right now my skin has never been so soft and moisturized! I am almost finished my Rimmel London lipstick in "Birthday Suit", it literally feels like forever when trying to finish up the last bit of a product.. I am definitely getting to the 3L but its such a challenge sometimes, especially when you are on the go a lot. My gym commitment is the one I am most proud of! I have lost 3 pounds, in just 2 shorts weeks. I am doing this weight loss goal slowly but surly this time, I definitely do not want to go back now.

I know I said I would finish one make-up product before I bought another one, but I absolutely had to get this set when I saw it! My sister and I were at the mall and with no intentions of buying anything I managed to find two of fave products in a set! Estee Lauder's Magnascopic Mascara and the Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I can't even begin to emphasize how much I have missed this mascara product. I was first introduced to it when my mom would buy her face creams and then get the free gifts, I would also steal her gifts from her hehe. Out of all the mascara's I found this was the best one for me. It didn't clump on my eyelashes, it sprends them almost perfectly, and lastly and most importantly it gives me the volume I needed. I have such thin and sparse eyelashes, this was my saviour until I started using the Colossal Volume Express from Maybelline New York in classic brown. It has also come with a mascara primer and the makeup consultant had informed me that it is one of Estee Lauder's greatest products, but just has not been marketed properly. She had tried it on my sister and honestly it looked like she was wearing falsies! I couldn't believe it! I was definitely sold! LOL.. Also, I just had to pick up one of the limited edition signature lipsticks in Radiant Rose. See the `LOVE` in the lipstick, its so freaking adorable!
