Words to describe this weekend: relaxing, fun-filled, enlightening, and a feeling of rejuvenation.
The weekend started with working on Saturday, but that I didn't even mind. I see working on the weekend as an opportunity to see my favourite people at work all at one time! We are definitely a great team, ended the retail quarter with a big bang! Saturday night, Rob and I met with a couple friends from school and their friends to watch a Filipino comedian, Rex Navarette. Pretty funny material I have to say, but once is enough.. We watched him last year around the same time of year, and half his material was the same unfortunately, but he closed off with some pretty good stuff, making fun of the filipinos pride and joy; Manny Pacquio - the boxer.
Sunday I can finally say that we made an effort to go to church as a family. Since the school year started for my sisters and everyone is working it has become really hard to collaborate in this household. After church, some family came over and we had our traditional Manuel- Trinidad Thanksgiving feast - Chicken Wings, Pancit, Lumpia, and Dessert Galore!
And lastly monday, My sister Maryanne and I dedicated this day to be our Spa-like day. We dyed our hair, did our nails, and watched tv for the majority of the day.
